Mission Statement

The American Association of Multi-Cultural Youth Training and Development, Inc. (MYTD), was created to guide, teach and empower youth to become all that God created them to be through mentoring and networking with adult volunteers and various organizations.

 

Purpose

The purpose of MYTD is to transfer knowledge to youth that will enable them to learn and achieve high standards morally, ethically, and spiritually for their lives and ultimately their sphere of influence.

Deborah D. Gunn,

Founder

 

Deborah Gunn is Founder and Board Chair of The American Association of Multi-Cultural Youth Training and Development, Inc. (MYTD), a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to guiding and empowering young people through mentoring and networking with volunteers and various organizations.  While establishing Multi-Cultural Youth Training and Development, Inc., she was employed by the Supreme Court of Georgia’s Administrative Office of the Courts as a Judicial Technology Training and Implementation Specialist.  Her diverse career includes criminal justice, judicial administration, real estate development, and business networking. 
 
 
Mrs. Gunn is currently serving as Project Director for First Things First’s Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grant, awarded by the U. S. Department of Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.  Her responsibilities include management of grant staff and partnering educators, program development and implementation of innovative training seminars and collaborative partnerships with family service agencies and corporations.  Deborah has been married to Alex Gunn for 23 years and they have one son, Courtenay.  Deborah is a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church where she serves on their Praise Team.  She is also Worship Leader for the “Be Still Get Real” Women’s Conference Team.
