Purity can be taught at any age. And furthermore, it is an ongoing process. While it is best, of course, to save that light (the gift of your sexuality) for your spouse within marriage, even one who may have already given his/her “kiss” to another person can make a choice to decide from this moment forward to be pure and chaste. All women are princesses. But in order to find your “prince” you need to act like a princess. Wouldn’t you love to inspire this sort of attraction from your (future) spouse? Well then, make this story your own.

Today's adolescents must navigate this cultural chaos just at a time when hormonal surges and emerging feelings are making life confusing enough. But what happens when faith gets thrown into the mix? How does being a Christian affect a teenager's perceptions and responses in this sex-drenched society?

The Purity Project is a program designed to teach the biblical understanding of marriage and sexuality. It provides a format to help organizations and families to offer the opportunity to their youth to make discipleship decisions that include a commitment to sexual purity: fidelity in marriage and chastity in singleness.

The Purity Project is also built on the premise that our youth want to live lives pleasing to God and that they want and need encouragement from Christian families and community to be faithful disciples. It also assumes the commitment of church leadership to live as examples before those they seek to disciple

Believing that true love waits, I make a commitment to God, myself, my family, my friends, my future mate, and my future children to a lifetime of purity including sexual abstinence from this day until the day I enter a biblical marriage relationship.
